Following on from the subject of helping my hayfever
For pure honesty, I’ve always been a Dyson vacuum lover, I always remember when they first came out and their bagless technology was seen as revolutionary in the vacuum market. They were always too expensive for our family though and it wasn’t until I left university and got my first place some 12 years ago that I decided to treat myself to my first ever Dyson (the DC24) and I’ve never looked back. In fact, I still have (had) the same vacuum until a couple of weeks ago before I was handed this newer model.
Sure I also have had some of their cordless versions, firstly the DC31 (the battery lasted about 10 minutes) and now the V8, the battery lasts around 20-30 minutes but is great for quick vacuums or cleaning the cars.
I’ve always gravitated to an upright corded version though to really provide a better clean and not have to worry about the dreaded empty battery midway through a clean.
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 vacuum cleaner provides nothing but exceptional suction, a much quieter sound than my now redundant DC24 and has an array of accessories for any household cleaning situation, whether its cleaning under sofa’s/settees (low profile cleaner head), getting rid of cobwebs up high (the pivoting wand and crevice/brush tool), cleaning small areas (stair and upholstery tool) as well as the tangle free turbine tool for vacuuming hair and to stop me having to cut it from the main cleaner head as I would normally do previously.
It really does clean much deeper than my previous model as I’d only recently vacuumed yet when I took the Dyson Ball Animal 2 Vacuum cleaner out for its first test drive, it still managed to pick up a good amount of dust and fluff from the floors. I also loved the 10 meter long cable which meant not having to stop and move the plug so often, another reason many move to cordless.
The vacuum is much heavier than our previous model however looking at current models, its pretty standard, I just think my DC24 was a “light” model at the time. I’m certainly hoping this new model stands the test of time like its predecessor however it does come with a 5 year guarantee so I should be pretty comfortable there.
Overall its clear to see that Dyson haven’t given up on their corded models just yet although to be fair, they have pretty much perfected this market anyway. We love our Dyson Ball Animal 2 Vacuum cleaner and I’m sure you would too.
