Recently I’ve seen a couple of my favourite bloggers popping pictures up on the social sphere of them and there little ones at festivals… well not creamfields, V or such like, but family festivals. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to go to a festival with little ones in tow, well now we’ll know as we’ve been invited to attend the Just So Festival 2015 later this month.
For those that haven’t heard of the Just so Festival, its now in its 7th year having began in 2009. Held annually its a weekend long camping festival made especially for children and their families with the festival providing claiming to provide a “magical experience where art, music and literature are embedded and entwined in a beautiful and wonderous landscape”. The event has a broad range of musical, theatrical, and visual performances, workshops and installations within a safe, natural and magical setting.
Held in the beautiful grounds of Rode Hall Estate in Cheshire its just on our doorstep but that won’t stop us ensuring we experience the whole weekend, including what will be our first camping trip, not only with H but with D too…. 😮
With everything there catering for your tiny ones such as nappy changing stations, free cloth nappy rental, baby bath times and feeding boudoirs, through to trolley hire (transportation of the kids) as well as the wonderful adventures, shows, movies, story telling and much much more, we can’t wait to attend.
The event runs from 21st-23rd August 2015 and weekend camping tickets are priced at £110 per adult and £50 for children over 3 (under 3 are free). Day tickets are £50 and £20 respectively but if you’re thinking of attending, tickets need to be preordered as there are no tickets sold on the door. For more details visit the Just So Festival website.
The next step to to start think about what to pack and what we need. Any suggestions, particularly for D please leave them below…. I’m thinking we might need a test run in the back garden in the coming days, certainly for H and I anyway 🙂
Until next time
